We are very excited to announce that in September 2019 Cha will be publishing a special “Writing Vietnam” issue. The issue will be guest edited by Nhã Thuyên and Kaitlin Rees, who will be reading the submissions with co-editors Tammy Ho Lai-Ming and Jeff Zroback. The issue will be cross-published in print in AJAR, a small literary journal-press based in Hanoi. Submissions of poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and photography & art will be accepted between 1 April 2019 and 30 June 2019. We will also be publishing reviews of books and films relating to Vietnam. More information to follow.
