On Saturday 21 April 2018, the Education Bureau and SCOLAR (Standing Committee on Language Education and Research) co-organised the 2018 World Book Day Fest. It is a full-day event that promotes reading in Hong Kong.
 .
Cha editors Tammy Ho and Eddie Tay and contributors Akin Jeje (from the Peel Street Poetry collective), James Shea (from Hong Kong Baptist University) and Kate Rogers (from the Poetry OutLoud group) were invited to read their poems and share their favourite Hong Kong poems with English language and literature teachers.
 .
At this “Poetry Teahouse” session, they explored the use of fun learning activities designed to engage students in poetry writing and appreciation, thereby developing their creativity and thinking skills.
 .
We are grateful to Ms. Elizabeth Wong and her colleagues at Education Bureau for the invitation.
