NOTE: WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING UNSOLICITED SUBMISSIONS. (Thursday 3 June 2021)
We are happy to announce that we are now accepting submissions for Issue 46—Twelfth Anniversary Issue—of Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, scheduled for publication in December 2019. Submissions of preferably Asian-themed poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction and photography & art are open now and close on Sunday 30 September 2019. Please note that we can only accept submissions in English or translated into English.
Our Associate Editors Arthur Leung (poetry) and Royston Tester (prose) will be reading the submissions with the co-editors Tamara Lai-Ming Ho and Jeff Zroback.
If you have a recent book that you think would be right for review in Cha, we encourage you to contact our Reviews Editor Eddie Tay (eddie@asiancha.com). Books should be sent to Eddie before 1 September 2019. If you would like to propose to review a book, a film, an exhibition, etc., please write to Cha‘s co-editor Tamara Ho (t@asiancha.com) with your idea before 30 September 2019.
Please include “Twelfth Anniversary” in the subject line of the email. Submissions to the issue should conform to our guidelines. NOTE: Submissions that do not comply to our guidelines will not be read or responded to.
What is the minimum and maximum number of poetry may I submit? What is the format of writing?
