NEW: We are currently accepting submissions to three special series.
This is the second website of Cha: An Asian Literary Journal (founded in 2007), a Hong Kong-based international English-language Asia-focused free-access literary journal. All new posts and updates (apart from Xi Xi: Can We Say, Auditory Cortex, and Write to Power) are added to this site for the time being—and you are welcome to pitch your ideas by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Hong Kong Protesting is a project affiliated with Cha.
Cha is edited by Tammy Lai-Ming Ho (Editor-in-Chief, Founding Co-editor, & Reviews Editor), Jeff Zroback (Founding Co-editor), Eddie Tay (Reviews Editor), and Lucas Klein (Translation Editor). Arthur Leung and Royston Tester are Cha‘s Associate Editors. Find out more about the journal, its special features, achievements, our guest editors, and more, HERE.

UPDATE on Tuesday 30 June 2020: ALL regular issues of Cha are postponed until further notice. In the meantime, new reviews, exclusive articles, and special features are added to this site—and you are welcome to pitch your ideas by sending an email to email@example.com. The Cha Reading Series and the Cha Writing Workshop Series remain active. Our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are also running.
