CHA: An Asian Literary Journal wins Million Writers Award for best new online magazine or journal

CHA: An Asian Literary Journal is very pleased to announce that we have won the storySouth Million Writers Award for best new online magazine or journal for 2008. We would like to thank the writers and the guest editors for being part of Asian Cha.

We would also like to congratulate Robert Abel (“The Ghost in the Mirror“), Ken Kamoche (“The Smell of Fresh Grass“) and Thaila Ramanujam (“Life is Awesome“) for having their stories selected by storySouth as among the notable online short stories published in 2008.

Cha contributors Tai Dong Huai and J. A. Tyler each has two stories named notable stories in 2008. Tai’s “Mice” (published in Pindeldyboz) and “Fang” (published in Underground Voices) and Tyler’s “Indians” (published in Storyglossia) and “And” (published in Underground Voices) have been selected as notable online stories published in 2008.
